 Gandikota:  Known as the "Grand Canyon of India," Gandikota is a historic village in Andhra Pradesh.  BELUM CAVES: Known for its stalactite and stalagmite structures, Belum Caves is the second largest cave on the Indian subcontinent and the longest cave in the plains. Long passageways, roomy chambers, freshwater galleries, and siphons can all be found in Belum Caves. The continuous flow of subterranean water created this naturally occurring underground cave. At the location known as Pataalaganga, the caves reach their deepest point, which is 150 feet below the entrance level. The Sanskrit word "Bilum" for caverns is the source of the name Belum caverns.
